Peter Eric Enns (born January 2, ) is an American Biblical scholar and has written widely on hermeneutics, Christianity and science, historicity of the Bible, and Old Testament interpretation.

Outside of his academic work Enns is a contributor to HuffPost and Patheos. He has also worked with Francis Collins' The BioLogos Foundation. His book Alma mater: Harvard University. Enns was the editor of the Westminster Theological Journal from – WTS suspended Enns following the end of the Spring semester, due to the theological issues raised in his book Inspiration and Incarnation.
